What to Wear

- Some rooms can get cool, so wear layers.
Housing
The following information applies to both the Marriott Marquis® Chicago and the Hyatt Regency® McCormick Place.
Room Charges
To ensure the accuracy of your bill when you depart, please have the front desk divide your room folio between all your roommates on your day of arrival.
Please note: Effective May 1, 2026, the city of Chicago started implementing a 1.5% CTID transaction charge. This feel is NOT included in guests’ deposits, so it’ll be due at checkout in addition to the applicable occupancy tax.
- Be prepared with your form of payment. This must be done on upon your arrival/check-in.
- Please note: The Room Leader has paid a one night’s room and tax deposit. This deposit has been divided and applied to each guest who is staying in the room. It is the Room Leader’s responsibility to collect the appropriate portion of the deposit from each roommate.
- There will be no refunds after checking out of the hotel.
Debit Cards
If you use a debit card when checking in for incidental charges, please know that a debit card acts as your personal checking account. Authorizations are obtained for credit and debit/check cards for room plus tax and funds may be withheld from your account for the duration of your stay. We recommend using a credit card as a form of payment rather than your debit card.
Housekeeping
Our rooms and suites have been equipped with the towels and amenities based on the number of guests reserved in the room. If you require additional amenities or towels, let Housekeeping know and they’ll supply you with what you need. Please return any used towels to them after your stay.
Checkout
Since we’re anticipating heavy traffic on Saturday morning, please use any of the express checkout options for your convenience. You may bypass the Front Desk and avoid waiting in line to checkout by taking advantage of one of the following options:
- Express Checkout: Please provide an email address at check-in. Your paid receipt will be sent to you via email.
- Phone Checkout > Dial 0 and the Front Desk staff will process your checkout and send your paid receipt via email.
- Leave your room key(s) in your guestroom.
- Any late checkout after 12 p.m. (CT) may result in a late check-out fee. Please contact the Front Desk regarding pricing and availability should you require a later check-out time.
Early Departure Fees
Please advise the hotel at check-in of any change in the length of your stay. Should you decide to depart early and your room becomes completely vacant during your stay, you may incur an early departure fee. Charges vary based on the hotel.
Luggage
Luggage can be stored through the Front Desk upon arrival and prior to departure. If you need assistance with your luggage, dial 0 from your guest room and a bellman will assist you.
After 7 a.m. (CT) on Saturday, July 18, you can also store your luggage at the convention center in the registration area. Everything must be picked up immediately after Closing General Session. Please Note: It will be unattended and remains your responsibility.
